The Wissahickon began as a monthly magazine produced by the students of Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia. Its first run from 1903 to 1933 served primarily as a school literary magazine, but it also contains editorials about current events, school news, athletic highlights and scores, and many pages of local advertising.
