The Admission and Medical Examination Book includes the following information on each patient: date, age during admission into the Home, rank, company and regiment, nativity, social condition, address of nearest friend(s), register number, and type of disability. Images are arranged chronologically. This collection is part of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs which is responsible for administering the Pennsylvania National Guard, and administers various programs of assistance to veterans.
