This collection contains field notebooks for fieldwork conducted in Fayette, Westmoreland, Greene and Washington Counties. Contents are arranged chronologically by date of entry and indexed alphabetically by township. Information provided is date of entry, township and location of record, and description and thickness of geological formation measured.
