This collection contains a field expense account book containing daily entries from August 7 through October 30, 1879 for transportation, sustenance, equipment, and postage expenses for McKean District Assistant Charles Ashburner that were reimbursed by A. W. Sheafer. Information provided is date of expenditure, a brief description of the nature of the expenditure, and amount of each expenditure.
