Collection of receipts for payments to Chambersburg citizens awarded claims from the $500,000 appropriation of 1866 for the relief of Chambersburg citizens who lost property in the 1864 Confederate raid. Information includes the name of the claimant, the number of the warrant, the date of the payment, and the amount of the payment. Images are arranged numerically by the warrant number. This collection is part of the Office of the Auditor General which audits the fiscal affairs for the Commonwealth.
