Cybersmarts Crosswalk to Alternate Resource
Cybersmarts will cease to be available in POWER Library as of 6/30/2023.
A review of comparable resources has revealed that the best alternative is Commonsense.org’s Digital Citizenship Program. The Digital Citizenship Program is updated regularly, targets a variety of learning styles, is well-produced, and covers the entire K-12 curriculum.

Commonsense.org provides a full K-12 curriculum comprised of the following thematic modules:

- Privacy & Security
- Digital Footprint & Identity
- Relationships & Communication
- Cyberbullying, Digital Drama & Hate Speech
- News & Media Literacy
Lesson plans for each grade, kindergarten through 12th, include activities, videos, family engagement materials, etc. Materials are updated regularly and aligned with numerous national standards.
